Lewin Universal Planer Parts

Hi, I am new to this site in hope of information on the "Spur part" on a Lewing Universal planer.

I have a Lewin from my late father's tool chest, it is in good condition but unfortunately one Spur is missing and the other Spur broken in half but has the screw. I have searched to find a picture of the Spur's online but had no luck. I would like a photo of a complete Spur for the "New Lewin Universal Planer" so I can make a pair. I have material sizes but no idea of shape. I am assuming the screw hole is slotted as I read the Spur can be extended. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance if someone can send me a pic or drawing.

I’ve got a Lewin but am at work so can’t photo it for you until later tonight I’m afraid. I do recall that the nicker isn’t slotted though and just reversible (one way it cuts, the other it doesn’t). Follow the link to a pic on alf’s site which also has some more good info on this tool:

I made one for my Lewin, using the blade from a pencil sharpener. It comes with a hole and you don't need to grind much metal off.
