Yandles

Perhaps I have been too many times and familiarity breeds contempt, but I did not enjoy my visit to Yandles today as much as in the past.
Lovely weather, friendly atmosphere, still as busy, but there just seemed to be the same old things on show.
Could not find the wood I really wanted - some 3" and 4" square spindles and the people I wanted to buy stuff from were not offering a show discount!

I was at Yandles as well, I must admit I did not spend to much money this time but did get some of them pen blanks and was very interested with the man doing pens, I did give this a go some time back, I may be a bit better with the lathe now, I hope.
I did stop off on the way down at Sherborne castle, only to find it is closed on Fridays.
If only I could find a nice place to have a lunch/dinner that will not cost the earth.
