I've just bought a Performance Power circular saw from B + Q for £25
simply for downsizing sheet material.
I'm now looking for a budget router to complement my Triton table
router.
I see that Argos have a deal on a Worx 1500W router, which incudes
1/4" and 1/2" collets and 16 assorted cutters for about £23.
I suspect the cutters might be a bit dodgy, but as I plan to do most of
my routing on the table this looks like a great deal.
I've checked through the forums for other peoples' experiences with
Worx tools and they don't seem too bad.
Has anybody used this router?

Thanks, Dave

I have a Worx router, not sure which one off-hand but it's a big pipper - seems to do very nicely (although I've not tried it in any precision operations yet).

I bought one of those about a year ago to put in a table. I have two other machines both Bosch Gof models and its not in the same league, think I paid £40 in Argos sale. Not too bad and reasonably well balanced. First used at Xmas but found that it wouldn't slide as there was only one bearing of sorts on one of the posts. I made one up in bronze and now all is well.
I looked at some other Bosch DIY models at about £70 and as far as I could see they were out of the same place in PRC as the turret and the spindle lock were identical to the Workx one. When I put the bearing in I had a look at the innards and no complaints.
