Hi chaps,

Well its been a lovely day and I got bored of rendering one of the small workshop walls so I thought I'd crack on with one of the windows....

Heres an overall in situ shot

Bit of a close up...

Close up showing beading and cill

I biscuited and glue'd all for outer corners of the frame using no 10 biscuits. The middle section was glued clamped up left to set then two screws put through each side to make sure the middle section doesn't go anywhere.

I then made the frame for the top of the window

I would like to put a concealed hinge in the sides of the top frame to let the top window open out over. Does anyone know of a hinge that will do the job?

Failing that I'll just be fitting regular hinges, with the hinge visible outside (just the edge of the hinge) to do the same job.

Its the first window I've ever made and first time using a biscuiter, what a great tool the biscuiter is. I also borrowed some record sash cramps from work to clamp up the frames. Will most certainly start my collection of these there very very good.

Sorry theres no wip photos

Thanks,
steven
