Woodcarving club insurance

I wonder if anyone can provide advice please? I am treasurer of a woodcarving club (only 12 members) and we run the club in an annexe to a local village hall. We have previously had our insurance as part of the hall cover, but new committee, new rules. They now want us to get our own insurance for public liability and contents. Any recommendations? Obviously as we are a small club, funds are limited.

are you affiliated with another club? You may be covered by their insurance, eg you are the newton abbot branch of the UK woodcarvers association?
