There's one in Greasley near Eastwood Notts. http://www.evwa.org.uk/ and one at Ollerton Notts. The Dukeries Woodturning Society, first Wednesday in the month, 6-9, Community Workshop, Dukeries Complex, Whinney Lane, New Ollerton. I don't know if it's still going but there used to be a club that had it's meeting at Turners Retreat so a phone call to them might be of benefit. all are about 20 miles or so from Chesterfield
