Wood bleaching - acid cleaning

I’ve just bleached an oak table top I have made.
Intending to coat with Rustins Plastic Coating but instructions tell me I need to clean it down with Hydrochloric Acid.
Can anyone suggest where I can get hold of a small amount to do this?

You can get it in hardware shops where it's sold as paving stone cleaner.
