Just glued up the first drawer on the elm chest...got very twichy  about it this afternoon, but it all went together like a dream first time, just as a drawer should :D . Just need to very carefully clean up and fit - Rob

Have cleaned up and fitted the first drawer that I glued last night. Has been sanded initially to 150g. When all have been done, I will then start on the Cedar of Lebannon bottoms - Rob

Waka - drawer bottoms are rebated and run in shallow grooves in the sides. Because of the thru' D/T's I will have to put an applied drawer slip onto the drawer front, bottom will be slot screwed to the back with a couple of very small brass c/s screws - Rob

That's looking really nice Rob. You must be more confident in your dovetails than I am in mine to have them showing as a design feature on the front of the drawer - but clearly justified in your case!
