Winzip download program is no longer freeware these days.

Back in January I was given a link to winzip but it refused me usage (after 45 days) without purchasing yesterday.

So I looked up some old magazine CDs yesterday (around 1998) and found a winzip 8 and it still works even on my XP.

On the same disk there is a WMP7, thats going to be handy as well.

So worth picking or hanging on to some of those old freebies.

Are you sure - my version says that and clicks up 100's of days very quickly but still allows trial version?

Si's got it; use 7 zip. Or.......delete present winzip, download 'fresh' version for 'trial', re-do in 100 days....just my 2d.....Sam
