Just going back to the router lifts for a mo... I'm looking at the Clean sweep inserts. I know they're only available for the Incra magna lock system, but they look identical to the normal plates but just have holes in them.
Is there any reason that you couldn't just get the standard plates that come with the lifts and drill holes in them to create the downdraft? The Incra ones do look really neat but they're £65.
I imagine it would be particularly easy to do with the phenolic inserts that come with the Jessem lift.
