Where can I get door handle metal work??!!

Hi all

I'm fairly new to woodturning but I thought a good first main project for me would be to turn new door handles for every room in my house. I've made a few testers but I cannot source the metalware, e.g. the brass rose and the 'shaft collar'?.

The photos show the only nice wooden one that exists.

Any ideas where I can buy these? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! :idea: :idea:

Hello and welcome.

You could try one of these...

and turn your door knob with a 32mm short shaft and insert it into one of these...

then drill and tap the bar underside to provide the fixing.

The only bit I can't work out how to do is drill a square hole for the bar :?
