Anyone know what model of Axminster chuck this is, I bought it quite a few years ago.

I'd like to know if I can still get jaws for it and an 3/4" x 16 adaptor for it should I relent and buy a Record Lathe.

That looks like a Clubman chuck. The jaws and accessory mounting jaws "should" still be compatible although a small amount of fettling may be necessary.

It looks as if it has an insert in which case these ought to fit...

But if it's a 1" x 8TPI thread on the chuck you ought to be able to buy a cheap thread adaptor for 3/4" x 16TPI even if you can't get an insert.

Thanks for that Jon. Probably best if I take it along to Axminster to make sure before I spend any money.

Looks like it's 80mm diameter?

The current 80mm accessory jaws should fit OK, (the 100mm ones would fit as well but could be a bit problematical due to standing proud of the body diameter and temptation to hold too big an item in them.) Adaptor for spindle may be a more significant problem though.

It's 100 mm dia Chas.
Then any of the 80 and 100mm accessory jaws will work, I use some 80mm versions on my 100mm chucks because of their smaller dovetail diameters. Nice clean looking chuck, hope you can get it adapted one way or another.
