What finish is on this furniture

We have some nursery furniture that we used for our first child, that got a little chewed in a couple of places. We're expecting our second child and would like to re-use the furniture, but clean it up a little first. Problem is, although I know I can lightly sand around the damaged areas, I'm not sure what finish I need to apply that will match the existing finish.

Here's an image that I hope might help identify the finish.

its a childrens thing, special paints are required. find the safe paints and online and follow the makers instructions.
