So my wife bought me a Wagner Flexi W590 from ScrewFix, for ma birthday. Bless. Now she wants me to start using it (!) it has been sat in the cupboard for 3 months! I'm going to paint my kitchen cabinet doors. Not sure what materials to use, sanders, cleaners, primers, paint types ... the doors look like MDF with some "shaker" covering (is it lamitate/vinyl) and a glossy covering (lacquer??)

I've watched countless Yankie videos which are not my cuppa and too jargonised, and heard the sales bull... but
was just wondering if you good UK folk have some tips / guidance for me. This is the first time I will have attempted this.
I'm a computer/IT guy by trade so have zero knowledge on what to use and how to use it - although I've done lots of DIY around the home over last 35+ years !
