I'm selling this on behalf of my Father in law, who doesn't have internet access.
He's been a carpenter all his life & I plan to do the same when I leave the Military next year. We're now having a sort through & clearing some tools that will not be getting used in order to clear some room for tools that will be used, such as a decent table saw.
The lathe is a Wadkin BXL in 240v single phase, I guess dating form the 50's/60's. It has had a properly made extended bed bolted on which allows for pieces up to 6 feet to be turned, but this can easily be unbolted if you don't have the space or need the capacity.
There is a huge amount of turning chisels (48 at last count, but more seem to be surfacing as we go through the cupboards) included, along with numerous chucks, centres etc. The two cabinets containing the tooling are also included.

Everything is in great condition, fully working & ready to be put to use straight away.
We're looking at £750 for the lathe, £400 for the chisels & £200 for the chuck, calipers etc. However we would prefer the lot to go to a good home as a complete package, so we're open to sensible offers.
We're just outside Martock in Somerset & would prefer collection only as we can then demonstrate the lathe working, plus it's too much to package up & get onto a pallet.
