Saw this and let the auction end befor I asked questions about it?
I've looked online but can't find anything out about it's design? So who can tell me about it as I've never seen a plane like it?

Why is it we can't link to an auction while it's current, only after it's sold, but we can link to a retailer while they still have stock for sale? Surely that's bias?

Cheers, Vann.

It's polite not to link to live auctions - if I have spotted some treasure in a pile of junk I don't want the extra competition from a bunch of wealthy UKW readers. (Though somehow I always miss the really good stuff.)

But telling people about shops that sell the things they are looking for is just being helpful.

So can anyone shed some light on this plane? I that's some unusual featured like the fact it has a infill tote and a bailey frot kno(ish) also the from adjuster but think what does it do?

Ouch!

But what actually is it?

Can you bear to show us some better photos?

Pity in a way, but also very interesting in another as it tells the story of a lesson learned in the early days of casting planes. Rare, because it's a 'I won't do it like that again' job.

Thanks for the pictures Andy; link works.
