I only asked because I just noticed turps sub is not available in many places

Just put a couple of bottles of white spirt in my tool station basket.
 
For what it's worth. I have noticed that white spirit, used for cleaning brushes and kept in a bottle, solidifies with time. Turps substitute hasn't, for me, and allows me to collect the Turps from the top into a fresh bottle. For wiping down before painting, after sanding I use spirit as it dries whereas the turps leaves a very slight film.
