Custard, I dont do slow mate - life's too short - I didn't quit work, my business works for me and not the other way around so I'm fortunate there. I don't need to work precisely because when I do something I do it full tilt and I do it well and I don't ask permission from experts to have a go at anything - but that doesn't mean I don't have to learn in the meantime and that's why I am asking questions - everybody starts somewhere and I need a table saw in order to learn how to use one, not sure how else I could have gone about that. I leave "slow" to the slow. I did take a file to my rip fence and now it's perfect - there was no other means of adjusting it since it was out of square due to poor casting. I will probably add some grub screws later but I dont have a tap and die kit and I've learnt before that cheap ones are as good as chocolate.
