treating oak

what is the best treatment for oak I have just put in some new oak door liners and would what is the best thing to put on them. I have some oak veneer doors to treat as well somebody suggested to me to just a finishing oil any ideas greatly received :lol: :lol: :lol:

If it is indoors Osmo on solid oak but not on the veneer. You will probably need a varnish on veneer.
If outside some say Osmo oil with uv protection

Why not use Osmo on the veneer? Would it cause it to lift?
