Toolmaster TM9409 370w lathe.

Anyone ever heard of a ToolMaster TM9409 Lathe? There's one on offer, reputedly unused, locally to me for £185 but I can't find any trace of a mention anywhere.

is it the one on gumtree? Never heard of them but it doesnt look that useful. what do you plan to turn on it? even doing pens, it would be too small to drill the blanks on the lathe.

Hi Marcross - yes it is.
Do you think it's really that small? It's 1375mm long overall and weighs 38kg.
I'm getting more details anyway.
Only vaguely interested - really want a metal turning lathe but I've read so much about the various models available now that my head hurts so I'm looking at woodturning as a relaxing alternative.
It's just that it's nearby and I'm nosey really.

ah, it may be bigger than I thought. it has some weight to it- my little jet must be about that heavy.

Yup -that's it Phil - identical.

I knew I'd seen it around somewhere.

I think I'll go back to my seemingly endless research on buying a little metalworking lathe instead.
