After seeing Lees tool tote i thought my 13 year old tool tote looked a little shabby to say the least

I thought i would give the laminated handle a go just to see how it works and as i had the offcuts as scrap .......

A few screws at datum marks on the scrap board and lots of clamps .
Today i unclamped it and it stayed in shape :D so i added some more strips .
This is in no way going to be as smart as Lees , it's a down and dirty tool tote with mitred corners held together with glue and screws . I was thinking of turning the 2x2 at the ends to hold the handle . Anyway here it is so far

Ok you win - Turned handle risers

We should start a new thread - 'Pimp my tool Tote' and see who can come up with the most ornate/ OTT Tool Tote.

Looking good :D

Lee.

Lee, I think that would be a great idea for a forum competition. Take a mundane object and pimp to extremes, should be a good laugh.
