Thicknesser advice please

Has anyone had any experience of the Axminster MB1933 Portable Thicknesser?

I've got one of Axminster's earlier models which is OK but would prefer one with an additional slower feed speed and this is the only two speed one I can find. All the rest seem to be 8 metres per minute feed speed.

Any advice/comments welcome.
