 Hi everyone, can anybody please advise where I can purchase an insert glass, or other, to take a tea light candle. I am going to turn a few tea lights and I think that they should have inserts of some type.

Hi,

I have got a few from charity shops and boot sales but apparently Chas (think he's away at the moment) buys them cheaply in Ikea if there's one near you

Hope this helps

Pete

I'm with davegw on this one, never bothered with inserts before, just let the beauty of the wood speak for itself.

they get extremley hot, it was on the radio about how many fires as a direct result of tealights there have been.
the fireman said that they have seen them burn through, baths, tellys even pianos all because they were placed directly onto those surfaces. they must have a metal or ceramic dish/ holder of some sort to prevent them from being a fire hazard.
