Funnily enough I have just bought some scrapers, skews and a parting tool from the same chap. Looks like the poor chap has had a stroke and is selling everything off. He must have had a huge collection, I think there were something like 12 round nose scrapers on at one point...

The same chap has been selling blanks and other bits and bobs for about 6 months. His collection must have been colossal. hemmm cheap tools.

cheap at the moment, nothing to say it will be in 6 days when the auction ends

They are good solid lathes though the legs aren't all that stable. We have them on benches at the club. certainly a bargain if it stays under £100 with the extension arm

Well, whatever his reasons for selling he delivers what he sells. I won these last Wednesday and paid on Thursday. When I got home this evening these were waiting for me:



Two skews, a parting tool and four scrapers. Amongst them 2 Ashley Isles, 2 Diamic and three unknowns (one of which has had a piece of coving practice used as a handle).
