Hi

I am wanting to make a Study bed for my sons small bedroom. Its like a murphy bed but with a desk underneath.

If anyone can point me in the direction of a supplier for the mechanism I would be grateful.

After watching the video a few times it should be possible to devise your own system. It may not be as smooth perhaps but certainly not as expensive.

Might want to try finding a supplier from the narrowboat market. I saw something similar years ago at a boat show. They stopped me taking pictures of it! Fair enough I suppose. It was a very neat mechanism and I believe it was probably pretty new to the market hence the camera shyness. Might find it's a lot more available now.
Take a look at Murphy beds as well. One page here: http://www.brit.co/murphy-beds/
There's loads of sites detailing murphy bed diy builds. Sure you'll find something suitable you can use.
Cheers
Chris

Coincidence. I went into High Wycombe this afternoon and walked right past the showroom in the link above. They looked good and quite simple product but I was also wondering where I could get the mechanism and came online tonight to look for one. Given the price I would look to see if something could be made up with less metal showing,
