Spraying supports

Not sure if anyone has any ideas, but here goes. Ages ago I was watching a YouTube video about wood working and in it this chap had some little caltrop type things to support timber bits off the bench when spraying a finish on them.
Needless to say I can't find anything about them on the web so wondered if anybody new what they were??...................dom

"Painter's pyramids" are designed for that sort of thing - https://www.axminster.co.uk/painter-s-pyramids-951789 - and also these in metal https://www.axminster.co.uk/ujk-technol ... nts-105085 - but I just knock a few panel pins into scraps of wood.
Use three and your workpiece won't rock.
