Aaarrrggghhhh!

I've been watching the French crime series Spiral on iPlayer and got thoroughly hooked. Yesterday, holed up against the snow, I watched five episodes back to back, saving the ultimate one, Episode 12, for tonight as a treat.

And it has disappeared off iPlayer. No longer available. So I have watched 11 of the 12 episodes and now I am bereft of the dénouement.

Does anyone have it recorded who would be kind enough to send it to me on a DVD? I shall remember you in my Will.

The expression "back to back" always intrigues me. It is more frequently heard in respect of music recording of course. Why do we say "back to back" when what we mean is "one after the other" or "without a break" or even "back to front" which is what actually happens. "Back to back" clearly means that the back of one is up against the back of the other. If two tracks were really played "back to back" then the second would have to be played backwards wouldn't it?
