This is the last of the Aldi Acacia chopping boards.

160mm Dia sphere it is the limit my little lathe can cope with, it worked really hard and I am proud of it. It deserves a rest and a new set of bearings.

Still some work to do on the internals but that will have to wait until my local supplier is out of lockdown.

I think my box is suffering from depression and is having suicidle tendancies. It keeps trying to roll off the table and onto the floor, I have had to save its llfe a couple of times.

I am looking at adding a foot to make it a bit more stable.

But I cant decide if I like it, any thoughts?

I like the look of that. Is it screwed on or does it sit on it?

The foot is made up of the individual pieces that I cut out of the individual layers, I ran a threaded rod through them all with a nut at each end holding the box and the leg together. I am still playing with the shape adding or removing them to see what they look like.
