Right so mid turning i got a catch and broke the clamp holding my rotatable headstock on my wtl90 and the sodding headstock almost jumped off the bed!! A replacement peice has been ordered and will be a week. (It wasn't an error on my part  but fatigue in the metal, so ive order 2 new ones to be safe)

the clamp in 2 parts should be 1.

Bloody typical though, ive got a week off and planned on upping my stock for a craft fair in a few weeks.

My question is, is there a way to temporarily fix this on attatch the headstock (hmmmm) safely whilst i wait for the part to arrive? Thanks in advance guys.

For gentle use a lump of Oak or Beech would do, with as big (dia.) washer as you can locate to spread the load.
