Some of my projects.

This first one was inspired by two things. First, a traditional English Lych Gate, combined with an idea I saw in the north of Germany a couple of years ago. Everything is fully jointed, and no glue or adhesive of any kind was harmed in its construction. The finish is a traditional one that has been used here for hundreds of years, and is mixed at home using relatively common ingredients.

Even if all of the mortice and tenons made were a bit boring towards the end, I did enjoy making it as well. Making the ironwork was fun as well!

Very nice. Whats the finish??

The finish is a traditional mix of Pine Wood Oil, Balsamic Turpentine, and Boiled Linseed Oil. The pigment to make it black is soot!

Two more of my completed projects, both own designs.
