Certainly a superb example of skilled work. My only quibble is that it's possibly a bit overdone - either the carving or the stringing alone would have been enough I think.

I really can't beleive anybody can carve that consistently but something similar aroung the edge of a large platter would realy be the business.
I certainly haven't got the patience any body got a rose engine ?
