I talked about spiral baskets enough and decided I should make one. Two problems with it, I removed the pattern before cutting the foot, and I used a #5 blade instead of a #7 so the basket doesn't extend as far as it should. No problem, I only need to cut another basket, not the whole thing.

Well done Martin. Its always nice to try our hand at something new and its so easy to overlook something when we are tackling a new project for the first time. Many times I have done this and made mistakes despite thinking every step before hand. The existing bowl looks okay in the photo though.

Really looks good Martin . I always found that if you didn't mention mistakes nobody pulled me up .

Maybe everything was perfect   .Jeez I must have been good

Looks good to me Martin.

Wife showed me a picture of a very basic wooden bowl in a magazine yesterday.
They are for sale, in one of the large national chain stores, the price £99.99.

At that price point, all of our work should start at one hundred pounds plus.

I think we all under rate ourselves.

Take care, this time next year we will all be millionaire’s. \:D/

If I was still self-employed, I'd want 20 quid just to print the pattern out.
