I just want to share with you my story and see if you agree with me that the world has finally gone mad.
Just over a week ago I purchased a SIP 01504 saw from a company called Tool Save, they were very speedy in their response and the saw arrived on time.
There were two very minor problems which I thought were going to be very easy to sort out. One was the zip on the dust bag was faulty and two one of the small screws holding the clamp was missing. I would think the zip was probably worth £2 and the screw 25p.
I took a photograph of the zip which was obviously faulty and gave the part number of a replacement bag and also the screw. I even offered to send the bag back under my own cost for them to examine.
I'm told by Tool Save today that the only option open to me instructed by SIP is I will have to pack the machine up and send it back to be looked at under warranty. The saw is in daily use here now, and works extremely well. The package which is very large has been disgarded and I would have to take a day off work to meet the courier.

Now is it me or is the world gone mad??
