Turning MDF into gold in a northern town
We've had a few of this type of very simple kitchen designs recently; just slab MDF doors with a matt painted finish. People seem to like the fact that we can match their Farrow & Ball painted walls perfectly.

We like the fact that there is hardly any work involved in making them!

This one had the plain push-to-open doors and drawer fronts complemented by maple end panels.

Looks nice brad - shame about the washing machine though. I just wonder what it will look like in a years time with the push to open with sticky fingers doors. What catches did you use? The reason I ask is that I spent the day today removing 22 of these:

and 55 hinges and replacing them with conventional sprung hinges. These salice catches have no adjustment and hardly any tolerance for movement and so aren't suited to longer (2200mm) long doors.
