They still make those?

I think they were branded under Multico when they were exported to the UK, I've definitely seen a few.

Many years ago I went on a 3 day course on the Shopsmith at Craft Supplies and although I enjoyed it and did like it I didnt buy one at the time I think it was about £1500 but by the time you had purchased all the other items you would want to go with it it became silly money.
I notice that today you can buy a mk7 for £5000 plus no wonder they are not popular in the UK.
