Still interesting watching. I did like the Owl Shed, but there again I'm a scouser so probably biased. The Scottish one was brilliant, but I'm not sure about the ECO tag - I'm thinking this is about re-use but I could be way off the mark.

Coincidentally I've just watched that episode (recorded).
Absolutely agree with you and the boss and I have just tried to define what we think should be classified as a shed. Obviously hugely subjective in terms of materials, building styles etc. but we came to our conclusion that it should have a practical use so woodwork, metal work, artists studio, writing area, gardening etc etc. But I'm a woodworker and my wife is a gardener and are probably very biased so apologies to anyone who has a summer house, tea house and calls it their shed.
Still and interesting programme to watch.

The definition is simple really;

shed
noun
1.
a simple roofed structure used for garden storage, to shelter animals, or as a workshop.
"a bicycle shed"
synonyms: hut, lean-to, outhouse, outbuilding, shack; More

Thanks for that Woodchips. Ilike the one with the bar the best!! My two eldest kids worked at the garden centre (High Legh) near Warrington (the one with the tiny shed on a train track) in their last year of school.

Just watched first episode this evening (recorded). Would have gone for the one with the sliding roof for stargazing (thought winner of this category was a boat, not a shed) and rammed earth one in ECO (but maybe that was just because I wanted to know more about the guy's wooden bicycles :D ). I must be out of tune with the general public, the two winners in these categories were my least favourite in each case.

Terry.

Agreed Terry, we can't fathom how these are being voted winners.

I reckon it's that Nookie Bear lookalike George who decides.
