Set of 6 Stormont

I'd been keeping my eyes peeled on the bay for a while now but nearly all the nice vintage bench chisels seem to go for silly money or they are mix and match. Stumbled across this set of Stormonts and won the auction, just a shade over £20.00 delivered. When you consider Irwin M444's are £30.00+ (and I actually still think the modern "blue chip" is still fine) I think these seem darn good value. I look forward to them arriving.

Stormont ceased in 1951 iirc - very nice chisels. I've a 3/4" paring chisel that is superb - it's actually flat.

Stormont are great chisels; I have a few mismatched firmers and bevel edge's of theirs in 'the box'. Do we have a date for when they started production?
