Sedgwick on their latest machines have changed the scribing heads from 55mm to 60mm.......not a big change but does anyone know why?
I have Tesh 3 and have a set of 55 and 60mm heads for it. So far, I have never needed to fit the 60mm heads. I can’t think of an instance when the extra 10mm of cutting will be needed. This tenoner isn’t suitable IMO for big, say, green oak construction jobs. The 60mm heads won’t take standard 55mm cutters and the 60mm cutters are more expensive.
