Hi has any one got a sealey lathe ive just got given a old one its got everything with it but a face plate ive looked at it and tried the face plate of my other lathe and they dont fit its not 3/4 16 or inch 8 has any one got any ideas what it could be

Its a old one it says a mc1100 but ive googled it and cant find much about then one site says its inch 10 but im not sure on that one

The Jinan Jaya International Economic & Industry Co., Ltd. says its 1" by 8 RH thread or other -- for what that is worth.

You should be able to count the threads per inch which could give you the answer.
Try wrapping some 1in wide masking tape tightly around the spindle to give you some contrast for counting.
