Interesting to see that scheppach have finally redesigned their saw rise and fall unit on th 4010 now the 4020 for a more sensible cast iron unit instead of that pressed metal job, took long enough about it. Should increase the accuracy out of all recognition. I don't know if it's made it to the 2500 but it ought to.

I glimpsed at one of these saws in a magazine advert earlier today and noticed they also come with a short rip fence, which appears to be something of a rarity between these and some of the other saws in the market (Record Power...).

So, while sceptics have their concerns now that most (but not all) of their stuff is now manufactured in China, they're still doing something right.

All the Scheppach Rip Fences, right back to my old Aluminium TS2500 are adjustable. So I can pull it back for wild timber and leave it longer (not that I bother) for man-made panels.
