Scheppach Bassato 3 Bandsaw

Hi, we've just acquired a Scheppach Bandsaw and we can't figure out how to turn it on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Lift the red button, the switch is underneath.

As per previous comment. Lift the red plastic emergency stop switch cover and the green for go button will be underneath it.

Remember, put the red switch cover back down. It's there for easy access should you cut your arm off.

We've already tried that. We've tried the electrical connections and there fine. We're stumped

are there any safety switches on the doors that could be dirty ?

Or a door not quite shut?

After having checked all the obvious stuff like fuses, safety switches etc. another to check which can fail is the starter capicitor.

I have the same bandsaw and although I dont have any problems with it (fingers crossed) it would be interesting to know the outcome.
