Hello!

No it's not for sale. It never was. Not in Derby either. Not far from Derby though.

Hope that helps.

What may not be obvious is that the Marketplace section was set up to allow forum members to buy and sell amongst themselves. It was never intended to be a replacement for mail order shops, auction sites or classified ads. So if you are a new member you won't be able to reply personally to a For Sale notice.
The reasoning there is that message boards like this are subject to a continuous onslaught of advertising spam from bots or lowlife and one simple line of defence is not to allow brand new members to do things such as send private messages or post links to other sites.

If you are interested in woodwork, please do stick around and contribute! The 'new member' settings are not meant as a deterrent to people who want to join in with what is a remarkably civilised and welcoming forum.

Do'h!

I've been politely welcoming to a bot!

No, just an individual from wales who has visited the site this evening but does seem to have crossed wires somewhere.

I know people from Powys who would be offended to be called "individuals from South Wales."

Stand corrected, had the word "Barry" on my mind as I'd just been checking another IP from down south.
