The thing you have to be aware of with a thin kerf blade is the thickness of the riving knife. The riving knife must not be thicker than the blade kerf. Of course you can make a new thinner riving knife, but I think thin kerf blades are a little unnecessary for a table saw and I would go for a standard blade.
I can highly recommend CMT though. A 42 tooth blade will do OK at both ripping and crosscutting, although you might have to slow down on the ripping. I have an extra 60 tooth blade specifically for when a super clean crosscut is needed.
