Router Hitachi M12VE vs Makita 3612

Hi All,
My chinese router (first router) passed to happy hunter around. #-o
Looking opinion about these two models.
I'm home improvements and they will be installed on the table. My budget ceiling is 150 quid. I've seen new Hitachi in some online stores, as well used Makita "as new" to that price.

I have a Makita 3612c and a Hitachi M12v and its very close, the Hitachi just edges it, but you will be happy with either.

I have had the hitachi's earlier version over 25 years and its still better than the 3 yaer old makita

I have owned both, and would echo the recommendation of both posts above, that M12v (which is what I owned, the older model) must be IMO one of the most underrated routers around.

Neither of them do. Others have above the table height adjustment - bosch. While triton has both

Interesting. I thought the Mak did above the table hight changes but wasn't sure if the Hitachi did too but you are saying neither do?
