Hi
Could anyone help me in making some drawer pulls for some cupboard doors, you know the sort that are shaped like a semi circle that you can put your hand almost in behind, and pull. Does anyone know of an article, thread or link or could just tell me how to?
Many thanks

From what I just saw, I'd rout a stopped rebate (To the correct length and depth) on the edge of a board, then rip off the bit I wanted, leaving the narrow finger grip. After that rasps and sanding?

HTH :)

rout the shape and then a gouge to cut out a finger grip it doesn`t need to be too deep just enough to stop the ends of the fingers from slipping out of the hold.
my pictures are too big to show you mine but they are not dissimilar to the mark ripley link and that is how i do them
all the best
rob

you could use a dovetail bit to make the bevelled finger grip using a bushing riding along a curved template
then round the sharp edge using whatever method you think is best
