Hi all,
Does anyone have any knowledge of Clarke routers as sold by Machine Mart?
I am looking for a router to leave permanently set up in my router table, I currently use my Dewalt 625, but its a pain in the bits!! to have to keep mounting and dis-mounting in the lifter when its needed for another task.
The Clarke CR3 seems to fit the bill as regards power, plunge depth and variable speed as well as price at around £110, but I don't know about reliability and build quality. This is not a machine that would get a serious amount of work as its only in a hobby environment, the serious stuff can be done at work on a spindle!
