Hello all, been a while since i last posted.
my old 3 wheel powerline bandsaw is dieing a slow death, and i really do need an upgrade, needs to be bench top due to space, ive been eyeing up the RP bs10 and the bs250. however i notice a number of other mechines that look, and have much the same specs, but for often less.
is it a question of you get what you pay for, or a question of paying for a brand?
budget is around the £200 mark, been checking 2nd hand, not much local (cannot drive) mostly far too big, or naffer then my current saw, will be spending as much as i can for a decent tool, however the most i cut is 70mm thinkness, and more or less just cut stuff under 2inches for the lathe. would like to carry on doing that, possibly start makeing bandsaw boxes too.
