I took the plunge and ordered a Makita SP6000KI with 2x rails, 2x clips, 2x connectors, rail bag and case for £350.00 from Anglia Tool Centre, which was about the best deal I could find. Anyone got any recommendations for accessories that are worth having ? like is the blade it comes with okay or is there a better one (my first project is melamine based). I have a Dewalt DW621K that would be nice to use with the Makita track if it will fit. I also love jigs and mods so any ideas most welcome.

Funny, I haven't felt this enthused about a new tool since I got my much loved Elu TGS172, exactly forty years ago, I paid £1,300.00 odd quid for it back then =D> a fantastic bit of kit, just refurbed her and I still think she's gorgeous 8)

Makes a nice change to get exited :)

I felt the same, ummed and aarhhed over the makita or the festool Ts55, went with the latter in the end.....
Enjoy your new toy, I mean tool ;-)
