posting pictures

Hi
I need some help when I try to upload pictures I am instructed the image is too large
I have tried compressing file still no joy. I set my camera on small setting but the same result, image too large.
can anyone enlighten me on what i need to do.

Hi

I use photobucket ( Free ) upload your images , Then use the resize option and save at that file size

Then copy and paste the img file into a open UKworkshop ( Post a reply window )

Best to use 640 x 480 0.3mb then you can upload :wink:

Puzzler, can you tell us what operating system you use, there are numerous free software ways of resizing images to get them below the 256kb file size for direct upload to the forum.
Some are dependant on your operating system so knowing that will help in advice on how to do it.

Worst case if you have images you really would like to upload you could e-mail them to me and I'll resize them for you.
PM me for mail address to send to if you want to do that.
