Poolwood Equipment spares

Hi all,

Just been given a bandsaw by my father made by Poolwood equipment. The two bands that go round the idler and drive wheels have perished. Many moons ago (2008) I found that Poolwood and Fox did a spare at £11 each + postage. Does this seem a reasonable price?

To me it seems a bit high to me for a rubber belt but I may be a bit out of touch.

Does any one know of anywhere else I may get spares.

I replaced mine with these, I realise you need to import from the US but they are well worth it and a breeze to fit. just confirm the width of the tyre with the wheels prior to ordering I think they are 1" wide on poolewoods

I take it its a 14" has just remembered I think poolewood did three sizes but there are loads on ebay just search on bandsaw tyre

I don't know what size it is at the moment only that the model number is PW360. I'll take a piece of string to the wheel and go from there.

It seems that the USA ones are cheaper even with the slightly more expensive postage and they sell them in sets.
